New Groups registered under Swayamsiddha Foundation's Mother NGO Programme were inducted into the organisation on the occassion of World Women's Day on 08th March 2015. The programme was inaugurated by Dr.Rashmi Yeradkar, Head of Department, Occupational  Therapy Department, Lokmanya Tilak Hospital, Sion, Mumbai. Shri Jeevraj Sawant, Thane District Coordinator of Rashtra Seva Dal, Shri Ram Gavade, CA, Shri Bhushan Paithankar, President and Team Members of Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai alongwith Representatives of enrolling SHGs and various NGOs were present on the occassion.
Dr.Rashmi Yeradkar, in her address motivated the women to opt for self employment and told them importance of Cleanliness, Physical and Mental Fitness and how to achieve the same. Her speech was well received by the participants.
Shri Ram Gavade, CA, elaborated in details the nitty gritties of SHG movement and motivated the assembled SHGs to explore new avenues in business. Shri Jeevraj Sawant, Thane District Coordinator of Rashtra Seva Dal in his deliberations urged the women to follow the guidance of Swayamsiddha Foundation and establish their identity.
Shri Vijay Joshi, Secretary, in his initial remarks presented the Overview of the SHG movement and the role of Swayamsiddha Foundation in it. Shri Bhushan Paithankar, President, Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai presented various success stories and motivated the enrolled groups.
Shri Samir Manchekar, Regional Coordinator, coordinated the entire programme and was instrumental in assembly of the groups.

Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai is organising a workshop for SHGs (Bachat Gat) on 15th Feb.,2015 at 04.00 pm at DAV School, Near Liberty Garden, Malad west, Mumbai. Information relating to Bachat Gat and Self Employment will be disseminated in this Workshop. Existing SHGs / Inviduals who are planning to start new SHG may attend in this Free Workshop.

Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat Foundation, Mumbai organised an Awareness Campaign for Bachat Gats (SHGs) at  Shirodkar High School, Parel on 01st Feb.2015.  60 participants from all over Mumbai and Thane attended the campaign. Information relating to various issues pertaining to Bachat Gats was disseminated during the programme.

The programme was attended by Members of Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat Foundation, namely Shri Vijay Joshi, Shri Samir Manchekar, Ms.Vinaya Sawant, Dr.Kshama Todankar, Shri Ram Gavde, Shri Shailesh Satam, Ms. Namrata Avere, Ms.Swati Sawant and others.

A Workshop for new and existing Self Help Groups (Bachat Gats) was organised at Adarsha Vidyalaya, Dombivli on 18.01.2015. 40 participants participated in the event.
The information like how to set up new Bachat Gat, rules and regulations, how to sustain and grow your group and how to convert your group into a new and successful business enterprise was disseminated amongst the participants.
 The participant groups are enrolling Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat Foundation, Mumbai under it s Mother NGO Programme.
A similar programme is organised at Dadar on 01st Feb.2015.

Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat Foundation, Mumbai on an invite from Maratha Mandir's Babasaheb Gawade Institute of Management Studies organised Awareness Programme on SHG for their MMS Students on 11.10.2014. Around 60 Students attended the Campaign.

Shri Bhushan Paithankar, President & Shri Vijay Joshi, Hon.Secretary, Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat Foundation, Mumbai attended the Programme and presented the participants insight into SHG Movement. The students participated enthusiastically and the programme was well received by them.

Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat foundation is thankful to Dr.Sunil Karve, Director, BGIMS, Ms.Rajashree Sonawane, Asstt.Professor & Ms.Bhakti Ganatra and all support staff for making this Awareness Programme a successful one.

Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat Foundation participated in the Seminar organised by Shivadicha Raja Ganpati Mandal, Mumbai, on 20th October, 2013. Around 200 women participated in the event. Shri Ashok Patil & Shri Vijay Joshi of Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat Foundation guided the gathering on various aspects of SHG Movement. Shri Vijay Indulkar, President Shri Shrikant Jadhav, Secretary and the entire team of Office Bearers & Volunteers worked for the success of the event.

New Self Help Groups under the aegis of Shivadicha Raja Ganpati Mandal are being formed.

Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat Foundation organised a Campaign for about 100 women participants of MNS at Karjat, Dist. Raigad, Mumbai on 31st August, 2013. Shri Bhalchandra Joshi, Corporator, Karjat Municipal Council and his team were present during the event and coordinated the programme.

The group of ladies were informed about basics and various aspects of SHG movement, about marketing skills and how to start small enterprise.

The group was sensitized about various aspects of SHG movement, about marketing skills and how to start small enterprise. Various Government Schemes were also explained to the group.

Shri Ashok Patil & Shri Samir Manchekar of Swayamsiddha Foundation and members from 12 SHGs participated in the programmme. An Intensive Motivation Campaign followed by Training Programme is planned for the group.

The group was sensitized about various aspects of SHG movement, about marketing skills and how to start small enterprise. Various Government Schemes were also explained to the group.

Shri Bhushan Paithankar, Shri Vijay Joshi, Shri Ashok Patil, Shri Samir Manchekar, Shri Rajesh Patil, Ms.Vinaya Sawant of Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat Foundation were present for the Event. Shri Mahendra Gawde, Editor of The Global Times was also present during the function and guided the participants. Shri Ajay Jadhav of Repuplican Sena coordinated the events locally. Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat Foundation intends to render hand holding support for the group in near future.

Detailed information on formation of Self Help Group and how to achieve self employment from Bachat Gat was given. Shri Bhushan Paithankar, Shri Vijay Joshi and Shri Ashok Patil of Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat Foundation were present during the event. Shri Vijay Joshi presented detailed presentation, while Shri Bhushan Paithankar presented the future roadmap of the Programme. Shri Aparant Kamble coordinated the event from Buddhist Conference. Bachat Gats who were involved in Business had set up their stalls and displayed their products. Around 100 women participants alongwith the members of Buddhist Conference who came from different parts of Maharashtra were present for the programme and later on interacted with the members of Swayamsiddha Bachat Gat Foundation.
