Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai organised Udyog Sadhana Workshop at Malad on 12th Feb.,2017. The objective of the workshop was to motivate Women to opt for self-employment. 55 women participated in the event.
Earlier in the day the past trainees of Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai were called for follow up meet and were provided information about various aspects of Digital Marketing. Their Udyog Aadhaar Registration was also made and presented to the participants during the programme.
The Udyog Sadhana Workshop began with the presentation on self-employment and entrepreneurship by Shri Vijay Joshi, Hon.Secretary, Swayamsiddha. The event was graced by Team from Aspire Home Finance Ltd - (Mahila Awas Loan from Aspire). The team was led by Ms.Deepali Shinde, Head, MALA-ASPIRE alongwith Ms.Geetanjali Sankpal, Mumbai Head. Ms.Deepali Shinde presented various affordable home loan options from MALA-ASPIRE for women from unorganised sector.
Shri Pravin Darge and Mrs.Pradnya Shenoy, Managers from The Greater Cooperative Bank also presented various finance schemes for women entrepreneurs.
Later in the day, Mrs.Surekha Naik demonstrated making of handicraft products and paper bags.
Shri Samir Manchekar of Swayamsiddha coordinated the entire event. Swayamsiddha Foundation was represented by Shri Bhushan Paithankar, President, Shri Vijay Joshi, Secretary, Shri Samir Manchekar, Trustee, Shri Rajesh Patil, Trustee, Mrs.Namrata Gawade, Memberand others.
